    MODNY, a retail extension of John Exporter (a company incorporated under the laws of India), offers various fashion services, including its website, www.modny.in.
  1. What is this Return and Exchange Policy?
    2.1. This Return and Exchange Policy, along with the Terms of Use, outlines MODNY's procedures for accepting returns and exchanges once a Product is delivered to a User. Any returns or exchanges are subject to this policy's terms and conditions.

2.2. Users are required to review and understand this Return and Exchange Policy. By initiating a purchase or return, Users agree to be bound by this policy. If you do not agree, you should not proceed with the purchase or return.

  1. Terms of Return and Exchange

Product Category

  • Fashion and Lifestyle Products: Return or exchange within 5 days from the delivery date (product must be unused with tags intact).
  • Innerwear (briefs, panties, lingerie sets, socks, stockings): Non-returnable.

3.1. If a User is dissatisfied with a purchased Product or finds it defective (attributable to MODNY and verified by MODNY at its discretion), the User can initiate a return and request an exchange within 5 days of delivery. Returned Products must comply with this policy's conditions: unused, unwashed, tags intact, and free from stains or damage.

3.2. A User may cancel an order before it is dispatched. Once canceled, MODNY will process an exchange credit within 2 business days. Exchanges will be reflected as store credit or processed according to the payment method used.

3.3. An exchange will not be processed if:

  • The Product has been used, washed, or damaged.
  • Tags, packaging, or accompanying items (e.g., gifts) are missing or damaged.
  • MODNY determines that the Product is ineligible for an exchange based on quality checks.

3.4. MODNY reserves the right to decline or modify this policy without prior notice.

3.5. Shipping charges and other applicable charges will not be included in exchange credit, except in the case of a defective Product at delivery.

3.6. MODNY will provide updates on the exchange status via the User's registered email and mobile number.

3.7. Users are responsible for returning all accompanying items (e.g., gifts, accessories). MODNY reserves the right to adjust the exchange value if items are missing or damaged.

3.8. MODNY will initiate an exchange after satisfactory quality checks. In case of disputes, MODNY reserves the right to decline an exchange.

3.9. Exchanges will be processed as store credit for COD purchases or multiple payment options unless otherwise determined by MODNY. Store credit cannot be refunded as cash or transferred to another account.

3.10. MODNY facilitates returns through its reverse logistics partners. If pick-up services are unavailable, the User must self-ship the Product to MODNY’s outlet and provide proof of shipping (e.g., scanned receipt) to info@modny.in.
